A Palestinian boy was shot and killed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in al-Khader village south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem on Friday evening.
The Palestinian ministry of health reported that Zaid Ghuneim 15 succumbed to his serious injuries sustained during the IOF clashes in al-Khader village.
Other medical sources reported that Ghuneim was fatally wounded by three bullets in the neck and the back and succumbed to his wounds shortly after he was transferred to the Al-Yamama Specialist Hospital in Bethlehem.
In a related incident clashes erupted in several areas of the West Bank leaving scores of Palestinians injured.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society 88 Palestinians were injured including 10 by rubber-coated bullets during the IOF violent quelling of protests in Beita Beit Dajan and Huwara villages in Nablus.
