The Israeli prison authority on Monday transferred the wounded Palestinian prisoner Noureddine Jerboa from Ramleh prison to a ‘civilian’ hospital after his health deteriorated once again.
According to the Palestinian prisoner society prisoner Jerboa is now kept under artificial respiration after he suffered from a sudden rise in temperature and problems in the intestines.
“Despite Jerboa’s serious health conditions and desperate need to medical care the Israeli prison authority transferred him from Rambam Health Care Campus to the Ramleh prison which points to its policy of medical negligence” the society added.
Jerboa stood trial on Sunday where the court extended his detention. Jerboa’s family managed to see him through video conference confirming that he was in good health.
On the 9th of April Jerboa was arrested by Israeli occupation forces in Jenin refugee camp after shooting him. He was hit with several bullets including one in the spine.
