The Palestinian prisoner Muhammad Nawara was transferred to hospital after his health worsened following 12 days of hunger strike in Israeli jail rights sources revealed on Wednesday.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) affirmed that Nawara sentenced to life has been on hunger strike for 12 days in protest against his renewed isolation for the third time.
Detained in 2001 Nawara was sent to solitary confinement in Gilboa prison for six months that was recently renewed to six more months.
4600 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails including 180 minors 34 women and 544 administrative detainees.
