The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Friday that nine deaths and 336 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that four deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip while the five others were recorded in the West Bank.
It pointed out that 55 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 103 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 13 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.1 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.9 percent and the death rate was 1 percent of all infections the ministry concluded.
