At least one Palestinian suffered different injuries in a new settlers attack late Thursday in Hawara town south of Nablus.
Ghassan Daghlas a Palestinian official in charge of the settlements file in the northern West Bank affirmed that a group of Jewish settlers assaulted Palestinian olive pickers in the Al-Lahf area north of Hawara.
According to OCHA 410 settler attacks were reported in the occupied West Bank since the start of the year including property and mosque arsons stone-throwing uprooting of crops and olive trees attacks on vulnerable homes among others.
Settlers’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
