Mikdad Qawasme has entered his third month of hunger strike in Israeli jails on Monday in rejection of his administrative detention without trial or charge.

The 24-year-old Qawasme an ex-prisoner was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in January this year and held in six months administrative detention at the end of which the detention was renewed for another six months.

Qawasme is suffering difficult health conditions due to his hunger strike that entered the 61st day on Monday and is being held in ICU at the Ramle prison hospital.

The detainee has lost 15 kilograms of his weight and suffers difficulty in breathing and pain all over his body. He already suffers from migraine and stomach and eye problems.
