Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas has affirmed that the prisoners who carried out the Gilboa escape operation will be part of any new swap deal with the Israeli occupation and will be released with their heads held high.
“Re-arresting the Freedom Tunnel heroes cannot hide the truth of their honorable work or the size of shame and disgrace that has befallen the Israeli security establishment” spokesman for the Brigades Abu Obeida said in televised remarks on Saturday.
“If the Freedom Tunnel heroes have managed to liberate themselves this time from underground we promise them and our free prisoners that they will be liberated soon from above the ground God willing” spokesman Abu Obeida emphasized.
Abu Obeida also asserted that al-Qassam Brigades would never leave the Jenin camp and its resistance fighters confronting the Israeli occupation alone and would always stand by their side.
