A Palestinian young man was injured by armed Jewish settlers and violent clashes broke out with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in eastern Nablus on Sunday evening.
According to local sources a young man from Nablus City suffered injuries when settlers attacked him with pepper spray and shot him in his leg near an illegal outpost in Beit Dajan town east of Nablus.
The wounded young man was rushed to a hospital in Nablus city while dozens of local youths flocked to the eastern area of Beit Dajan and clashed with settlers and soldiers.
Meanwhile violent clashes broke out last night between Palestinian young men and the IOF at the main entrance to Beita town east of Nablus.
Local sources said that young protesters torched dozens of tires near the entrance to their town and flashed laser beams and flashlights at Israeli forces.
Earlier local young men used loudspeakers of Mosques in the town to call for participating in night clashes at the entrance to Beita to demand the release of the body of the martyr Shadi ash-Sharfa who was cold-bloodedly killed by the IOF as he was trying to open a water supply line near Beita town.
