Ismail Haneyya Hamas’s leader and a senior delegation of the Hamas Movement met on Thursday evening in Tehran the Chairman of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran Mr. Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf and several members of the Palestinian-Iranian Friendship Association in the Council.
The Hamas delegation discussed the developments related to the Palestinian cause after the battle of Saif Al-Quds and ways to confront Jewish settlements in the West Bank and the crimes of the Israeli occupation against Palestinians especially in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.
For his part Qalibaf affirmed the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in support of the Palestinian people their just cause and their resistance.
The Movement’s delegation arrived at dawn Thursday in response to an official invitation to attend the inauguration ceremony of president-elect Ibrahim Raisi.
