The Israeli occupation authorities demolished a number of commercial facilities in the town of Hizma northeast of Jerusalem on Wednesday.
Local sources said that the occupation bulldozers razed commercial buildings near the Hizma military checkpoint owned by Osama Al-Khatib under the pretext of unlicensed facilities.
The Israeli authorities use the policy of demolishing Palestinian facilities to force them to leave their homes and land hence to be seized by the settlers to expand the settlement projects.
In a different development settlers continued their bulldozing work in an outpost established on citizens’ lands in Khirbet Al-Suwayda in the northern Jordan Valley for the third day in a row.
Eyewitness said that the settlers bulldozed the lands of the Palestinians in that area using heavy machinery with the aim of expanding the settlement outpost.
A few years ago the settlers established a settlement outpost in Al-Suwayda and they began to expand it horizontally at the expense of the citizens’ lands who possess ownership documents of these lands.
