Father Manuel Musallam a noted Palestinian priest and head of the World Popular Organization for Jerusalem Justice and Peace has called on Christian clerics to go immediately to the Aqsa Mosque and help their Muslim brothers defend it against Israeli violations.
Father Musallam appealed to the Palestinian people from all spectra to shoulder their responsibilities and strongly stand in the face of the occupation and its crimes.
“The Jerusalemites are fighting a battle for their dignity their holy sites their homes their land their people and their religion” the priest said.
He warned of Israel’s efforts to control Jerusalem in its entirety and liquidate the Palestinian cause.
“We will win our battle with the occupation because we have morals while the enemy and its settlers are immoral. Throughout history the invaders who came to Jerusalem were defeated by its people’s valor” Father Musallam underscored.
