Israeli occupation forces (IOF) suppressed on Friday the weekly march in Beit Dajan village Nablus. Clashes erupted and several Palestinians were wounded.
Local sources reported that IOF quelled the weekly march in the village and fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters. Dozens of citizens suffered breathing problems.
The sources pointed out that a citizen was injured with live bullets in his foot while two others were wounded with rubber bullets one of them in his head and the other in his foot.
A fire broke out in the area due to the intensive firing of stun grenades and tear gas canisters by the IOF soldiers according to the sources.
The People’s Committee for Land Defense in Beit Dajan called on residents to mobilize and participate in the weekly march to reject settlements.
The eastern region of Beit Dajan has been witnessing continuous confrontations on Fridays for several months as the village land is threatened with confiscation by the Israeli occupation.
