Israeli army threatens to raze farm over 25 homes in W. Bank

Tuesday 9-February-2021

The Israeli occupation army on Tuesday notified a Palestinian citizen of its intent to demolish a livestock farm in al-Fureidis village east of Bethlehem in the West Bank claiming the facility is unlicensed.

Local official Hasan Bureijia said that the farm owner Suleiman al-Wahsh was given one week to comply with the military order.

In Nablus the Israeli army on Monday delivered demolition and stop-work orders against over 25 houses belonging to Palestinian citizens in the south of the city.

Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that the military orders against these homes in Nablus are “a very alarming development because they are located in an area within the boundaries of the city where there are no settlers or settlements.”

He warned that dozens of citizens would be rendered homeless if the demolitions were carried out in the area.
