Eight Palestinians held in complete isolation for long months

Eight Palestinian prisoners have been suffering from harsh incarceration conditions in isolation cells in the Israeli jail of Megiddo for long months.

According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs the isolated prisoners are Emad al-Batran and Arafat Erfa’iya from al-Khalil Wael Na’irat from Jenin Wael al-Jaghoub and Mahmoud Atta from Nablus Emad Sarhan from Haifa Musaab Alyan from Jerusalem and Ghaleb Ghanayem from the 1948 occupied lands.

The eight prisoners have been deprived of seeing their families for long months and some of them for years.

All of them are being held incommunicado in very small isolation cells that are windowless badly lit filthy and poorly ventilated.
