The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday morning opened fire towards agricultural areas in the east of Khan Yunis south of the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources the IOF opened fire from military posts behind the border fence at swaths of cultivated lands in the east of al-Qarara area in Khan Yunis.
Soldiers also opened fire from watchtowers towards plots of land planted with crops in different eastern areas of Abasan al-Kabira and Khuza’ah in Khan Yunis.
The intensity of the shooting forced local farmers to leave their lands.
