Israeli repression units (Masada) on Sunday stormed the Negev desert prison attacking Palestinian prisoners and isolating a group of them.
The Asra Media Office reported that a state of tension prevailed in the Negev prison after the Masada troops stormed section 21 in the prison and placed a number of Palestinian prisoners in solitary confinement.
This comes as part of the Israeli punitive measures imposed on Palestinian prisoners following the announcement of their intention to wage an open-ended hunger strike in protest at administrative detention policy.
The administrative detainees committee had announced that hundreds of administrative detainees will go on an open-ended hunger strike starting on the 18th of June pointing out that the number of Palestinian administrative detainees has reached 1100 detainees.
