Thursday 20-August-2020

The Israeli occupation army on Thursday morning demolished a Palestinian-owned storehouse in Atouf hamlet south of Tubas in the West Bank.

Local official Abdullah Bisharat said that an Israeli bulldozer escorted by soldiers knocked down a 150-square-meter storehouse belonging to a local resident called Khalil Bani Odeh in Atouf hamlet.

During the first half of the current year the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) demolished at least 357 homes and structures including 136 homes. 54 percent of the demolitions took place in Jerusalem and al-Khalil provinces.

During the same period the IOA also delivered hundreds of demolition evacuation and stop-work orders against homes and structures including historic buildings and agricultural facilities.
