Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished several Palestinian structures in al-Isawiya town in Jerusalem while a group of Israeli settlers poisoned and killed sheep owned by a Palestinian citizen in al-Auja area near Jericho on Tuesday morning.
Local sources reported that the IOF stormed al-Isawiya in the early morning hours and demolished several Palestinian-owned agricultural facilities and barns over “unlicensed construction”.
Meanwhile in al-Auja a group of Israeli settlers sprayed highly toxic chemicals in Palestinian pasture fields killing at least 40 sheep and leaving others in difficult conditions.
Owner of the attacked sheep Ahmad al-Zawahra accused the settlers of a nearby settlement of deliberately poisoning his animals pointing that this attack is not the first of its kind in the area.
Settler attacks are commonplace in the West Bank and they are rarely investigated by the Israeli occupation authorities who usually fail to bring the perpetrators to justice.
