Thursday 2-July-2020

Tens of thousands of Palestinians took to the streets on Wednesday across the Gaza Strip West Bank Palestinian territories occupied since 1948 and Palestinian refugee camps in the diaspora to protest against Israel’s plan to annex Palestinian land.

Demonstrators of all ages waved Palestine flags and chanted slogans condemning Israel’s policies and rejecting the intended annexation.

Esam Baker a Palestinian activist taking part in a Ramallah demonstration in the West Bank said “The annexation will not pass and the struggle will continue until we achieve liberation and independence.”

Meanwhile Naser Abu Naser member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine’s political bureau in Gaza stressed the need for ending all internal disputes and focusing on formulating unified strategies to stop the Israeli annexation.

“We can’t stop the annexation while divided” Abu Naser stressed in press statements.
