A number of Palestinian citizens on Friday were injured when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled several protests in the West Bank against Israel’s annexation plan.
Local sources reported that five Palestinian citizens including three photojournalists were injured by IOF rubber-coated metal bullets while dozens others choked on tear gas.
Hundreds of peaceful demonstrators took to the streets in Qalqilya Ramallah Jericho and Jordan Valley to protest Israel’s growing settlement expansion and planned annexation of large parts of the occupied West Bank.
The IOF met the protesters with live ammunition rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters and they responded by throwing stones.
