Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has sent a message of congratulation to Chinese president Xi Jinping on his country’s success in beating the coronavirus (COVID-19).
“We are sharing with the world its admiration for the efficiency strength and knowledge your country has demonstrated in its battle against this fatal disease” Haneyya said in the message.
The Hamas leader also urged the Chinese leadership to provide support for the Palestinian people in the West Bank the Gaza Strip and in refugee camps abroad to help them confront the pandemic and its impacts.
He applauded China for its tremendous support for different countries during the global coronavirus crisis saying its great humanitarian position would strengthen the international cooperation and the joint response against the pandemic that threatens the entire humanity.
