Sheikh Izzuddin al-Amarneh a senior Hamas official in Jenin entered on Wednesday day 11 of the hunger strike he staged in protest at his administrative detention.
Recently Amarneh’s wife said that her husband’s health deteriorated following the hunger strike he started on April 23 describing his condition as very difficult especially because he is blind and already suffers from multiple health issues.
She appealed to international human rights organizations to pressure the Israeli occupation authority to release her husband immediately and unconditionally pointing out that he is unable to serve himself without assistance from another person.
She affirmed that an Israeli military court recently extended his administrative detention for four months with no indictment.
