A high-level delegation from the Hamas Movement led by its political bureau chief Ismail Haneyya concluded a six-day visit to Malaysia on Monday.
The Hamas delegation arrived in the country last Tuesday January 21 and met with Malaysian premier Mahathir Mohamed and other senior government officials.
The delegation also held meetings with political figures lawmakers and officials of civil society institutions.
During those meetings Haneyya and his accompanying delegation highlighted the US deal of the century as a real threat to the Palestinian cause and stressed the need for concerted Arab and Islamic efforts to confront and thwart this plan.
The Hamas officials also explained different Palestine-related issues especially the difficult humanitarian conditions being faced by the Palestinians at home and abroad.
