The Islamic Jihad Movement has held the Israeli occupation state fully responsible for any harm coming to Sheikh Khader Adnan one of its senior leaders threatening that there will be consequences if he dies.
In press remarks on Tuesday senior Islamic Jihad official Khaled al-Batsh called on the parties that made efforts to save Adnan’s life to continue pressuring the Israeli government to end his suffering before it is too late.
Batsh warned of an Israeli attempt to extract a court verdict against Adnan through fabricated indictments in order to keep him away from his family and people.
He called for supporting all the Palestinian prisoners especially Sheikh Khader Adnan.
A few days ago the Palestinian Prisoner Society warned that prisoner Adnan might die at any moment as a result of his prolonged hunger strike which he started 73 days ago in protest at his arbitrary detention.
Prisoner Adnan started his hunger strike on the first day of his detention February 5.
