The Hamas Movement has denounced the Israel occupation’s demolition of a house in western Ramallah belonging to the family of martyr Moataz al-Khawaja on Tuesday describing it as “another Zionist crime that reflects its failure to stop the Palestinian people’s revolution.”
In press remarks on Tuesday Hamas affirmed that the Israeli occupation would never succeed in undermining the Palestinian people’s faith in their resistance and their will to defend their land and holy sites especially the Aqsa Mosque.
“Our people who have embraced the resistance fighters will continue to heal the wounds of their families and rebuild their homes that are destroyed by the criminal occupation” the Movement underlined.
The Israeli occupation forces detonated in the morning an apartment belonging to the family of martyr Khawaja who was killed after carrying out a deadly shooting in the heart of Tel Aviv last March.
The Israeli occupation state systematically demolishes homes of Palestinian families as a punitive measure if their relatives carry out attacks against Israelis.
Human rights groups say such an Israeli policy amounts to collective punishment as it can render non-combatants including children homeless.
