The head of the Hamas Movement’s Department of Politics and Foreign Relations Basem Naim has welcomed the statement of the UN special committee to investigate Israeli practices affecting the human rights of the Palestinian people and other Arabs of the occupied territories.
In a press statement on Saturday Naim hailed the UN committee for issuing a statement that condemned the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people adding that the statement came following the committee’s visit to the occupied territories.
Naim stressed that the statement of the committee constitutes a significant step towards exposing and prosecuting the repeated Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in addition to achieving the rights of the Palestinian people.
He affirmed that the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people including killing land confiscation arbitrary arrest and settlement expansion policies are part of the racist agenda followed by the Israeli government.
