The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces for killing a young man and wounding other citizens during a violent raid in Tulkarem refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
In a statement Hamas condemned the killing of 25-year-old Abdul-Qader Zakdah and the injury of other citizens including a martyr’s father in Tulkarem as a &ldquoserious crime threatening the civil peace in the West Bank&rdquo and a &ldquoreflection of the dangerous level the influential PA officials have descended to.&rdquo
The Movement mourned the young man and offered its condolences to the martyr’s family and friends.
It called for necessarily punishing anyone who feel tempted to open fire at citizens chasing resistance fighters and removing the barricades placed on roads to obstruct the movement of Israeli military vehicles during raids.
Zakdah was reportedly shot dead during clashes between local residents and PA security forces in Tulkarem camp on Wednesday.
The clashes started after PA security forces entered Tulkarem to remove road barricades set up by resistance fighters.
