The Palestinian citizen Ahmad Qara&rsquoin was forced to self-demolish his house in Silwan town south of Occupied Jerusalem on Sunday under the pretext of building without construction permit.
Jerusalemite sources reported that Qara&rsquoin self-demolished his house after the Israeli court in Jerusalem issued a demolition order against his house in Wadi Hilweh neighborhood.
The sources added that Qara&rsquoin was forced to self-demolish his house to avoid paying exorbitant fees to the Israeli municipality.
181 Palestinian structures in Occupied Jerusalem were demolished 40 of which were self-demolished in the first half of 2023.
