The Islamic-Christian Committee in Support of Jerusalem and its Sanctuaries has warned of a new Israeli flag march set to be held on Wednesday in the Old City of Jerusalem and in the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a press statement on Tuesday the Committee said that extremist Jewish groups have been calling for massive raids into the Old City of Jerusalem and in the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a prelude to commemorating the so-called destruction of the &ldquoTemple&rdquo.
The Committee held the Israeli government responsible for the repercussions of the march as it facilitates the Jewish settlers&rsquo raids into the Old City and protects their attacks against the Palestinian citizens.
It called on the Palestinian people to intensify their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to protect it against the Israeli and Jewish settlers&rsquo desecration.
