A state of high tension has prevailed in Ramon jail since the morning hours of Sunday when Israeli forces raided cells and transferred Palestinian detainees to another prison.
According to Asra Media Office Israeli prison soldiers forcibly removed the prisoners in section 5 of the Ramon jail and transferred them to the Nafha jail which provoked tension in the entire detention facility.
Meanwhile the Ramon jailers closed other sections of the prison including 2 3 7 and 8 during the raid on section 5.
Israeli soldiers also transferred prisoner Mazen al-Qadi to an interrogation room and several other prisoners to isolation cells in the same prison.
Since the appointment of Itamar Ben Gvir as security minister the Israeli prison service has transferred hundreds of Palestinian prisoners to other jails and taken harsh incarceration measures against them.
