Martyr Mohammad Youssef Al-Khatib, 24, graduated last year from the College of Engineering, specializing in software. He was passionate about his major and worked hard to gain experience in the field.
He was distinguishably talented in the art of drawing on walls and paper. He would receive many questions from his friends like “When would you draw me, Muhammad?”
Furthermore, he mastered the art of cooking and was known for being so friendly and for his sense of humor.
Like so many young people in the besieged Gaza Strip, martyr Al-Khatib had a dream of working in his specialty to help his family have a better life.
He cherished his mother and always wished to remain obedient to her and to stay by her side, which already came true as the mother and her son were killed and martyred together in a brutal Israeli bombardment that targeted their house on October 24.
For 49 days in a row, Israel waged a heinous genocide in Gaza Strip via air, ground, and sea attacks, resulting in more than 40,000 martyrs, wounded and missing people. The Israeli aggression has paused following a renewable four-day deal between Hamas and Israel was reached.
