A video circulated by media activists last night showed an Israeli occupation army bulldozer desecrating the body of a Palestinian child killed by its soldiers in the Al-Farea refugee camp in Tubas, northern West Bank. Eyewitnesses reported that the video was filmed by a resident of Al-Farea camp on Thursday, and the body being desecrated belonged to the Palestinian child Majid Fidaa Abu Zeina (16 years old), who was martyred after Israeli soldiers opened fire on him during the raid on the camp.

The footage shows the bulldozer lifting the body and dragging it, tearing his clothes with its sharp-edged blade. Witnesses stated that Israeli occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching Abu Zeina when he was killed on Thursday, and dragged him with a military bulldozer outside Al-Farea camp before Red Crescent teams could transport him to the hospital.

This is not the first time that Israeli occupation army vehicles have desecrated the bodies of Palestinian martyrs after their soldiers kill them; similar acts have occurred in other areas of the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the past. Earlier this September, a video showed an Israeli military vehicle running over the body of an elderly Palestinian man who was shot by the occupation army in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin City.

Since August 28, the Israeli occupation army has been conducting a military operation in northern West Bank, considered the largest since 2002, targeting the cities of Jenin and its camp, Tulkarem and its two camps, and the city of Tubas and Al-Farea camp. Since that date, the army has been conducting repeated incursions and withdrawals in Tulkarem and Tubas, carrying out killings and arrests among Palestinian citizens while continuing its aggression on Jenin.

The military aggression in northern West Bank cities has resulted in 39 martyrs and injuries to 150 citizens, along with extensive damage to the infrastructure of homes, roads, and water and electricity networks, according to official Palestinian data.
