What kind of patience do the resilient mothers in Gaza endure as they bid farewell to their sons, daughters, and beloved ones, embracing them as martyrs with faith and unwavering certainty, like the steadfast mountains that are not shaken by the storms of Zionist aggression that have ravaged Gaza? After 457 consecutive days, more than 150,000 martyrs and injured have risen. In this time, one grieving mother wishes for her son to be the last martyr, hoping that the aggression will stop and that not a single drop of blood will be shed in Gaza again.
After support has become scarce, and the shame of Arab and Islamic betrayal of the people of Gaza has been revealed, she turns to Allah, with the heart of a mother from Gaza, constantly praying: “O Allah, heal our wounded, O Allah, (I hope) my son is in the highest paradise, O Allah, compensate us for the war, O Allah, grant me the reward of the patient.”
This grieving mother does not despair of Allah’s mercy—despite the immense loss—and continues her prayers, seeking compensation, strength, and guidance in the days to come from Allah to help her complete her journey and uphold the responsibility of educating her martyr son’s daughters once the war stops.
One mother bids farewell to her son, while another says goodbye to her pregnant daughter, who became a martyr due to a treacherous Zionist bombing on the innocent. She raises her prayers, accompanied by her tears, to Allah, with a pain that can split rocks: “May Allah grant us patience for your loss.”
A third mother is devastated by her son, whom she hoped to return with to the city of Gaza, but the treacherous bombing took him first, and she raises her moans and pain, crying out in agony from the separation: “I wished we could return together to Gaza. Who will I return to Gaza with? I can’t live without you!”
Thus, the stories of grief, loss, and pain in Gaza do not end with the continued brutal aggression of the Zionist forces. Every passing day writes a historic tale of legendary resilience inscribed with blood and sacrifices, and the tears of beloved mothers. It tells the whole world that no matter how far it goes in its betrayal and siding with the occupation in its crimes and aggression, the people of Gaza remain steadfast, patient, and resolute. They will not be harmed by those who abandon them, until victory and the cessation of aggression are achieved.
At the same time, the Israeli occupation army, supported by the United States and European countries, has been conducting its aggression against the Gaza Strip for 457 consecutive days. Its aircraft are bombing the surroundings of hospitals, buildings, towers, and the homes of Palestinian civilians, destroying them above the heads of their inhabitants, while preventing the entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel.
This aggression has resulted in approximately 155,000 Palestinian martyrs and injured individuals, most of whom are children and women, along with more than 10,000 missing persons, amidst immense destruction and famine that have killed dozens of children and the elderly, marking one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
