“Europeans for Jerusalem” reported that Israeli occupation forces committed 724 violations distributed across 16 types of human rights abuses, the majority of which were complex violations. The most significant violations included incursions and raids at 49.3%, followed by arrests at 14.8%.

In its monthly report for March 2025, “Europeans for Jerusalem” documented 36 incidents of gunfire and direct attacks by Israeli occupation forces in Jerusalem. This resulted in the martyrdom of three citizens, two workers during their pursuit, and the third, a released prisoner, was executed on the pretext of attempting a vehicular attack. Additionally, 7 citizens were injured, and dozens suffered from tear gas inhalation, while at least 22 citizens were subjected to beating and abuse.

The report documented 357 incursions by occupation forces into neighborhoods and towns of Jerusalem, during which 107 citizens were arrested, 16 were summoned, and 8 others were placed under house arrest.

The report also recorded 20 demolition operations affecting 7 homes, of which 2 were forced to be demolished by their owners, displacing 28 citizens. Furthermore, 8 facilities were destroyed, and several agricultural lands were razed, alongside 22 notifications and demolition orders issued against other homes and facilities.

An Israeli court in Jerusalem issued a ruling to evict the Al-Basha family from their historic home located on Al-Wad Street in the Old City to annex it to a Jewish synagogue.

During this month, the occupation authorities issued two decisions aimed at entrenching settlement and Judaization in Jerusalem, consisting of a plan to expand the influence of the occupation municipality northward at the expense of the towns and villages of Beit Iksa, Nabi Samuel, Al-Jib, Jaba, and Al-Ram, as well as plans to build over 1,000 settlement units in East Jerusalem.

Throughout this month, 2,619 settlers and thousands of others under the guise of tourists participated in incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, which recurred over 14 days. Fourteen other significant violations were recorded, primarily consisting of performing Talmudic rituals in its courtyards. Occupation forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque 5 times and prevented worshippers from I’tikaf (religious retreat) inside it.

Israeli occupation authorities continued to enforce policies of expulsion from Al-Aqsa Mosque or the city of Jerusalem. During this past month, they issued 36 expulsion orders, including 35 orders from Al-Aqsa and the Old City, and one from Jerusalem.

Settlers continued to carry out assaults against citizens in occupied Jerusalem, with “Europeans for Jerusalem” documenting 7 assaults by settlers, which included attacking citizens and assaulting their public properties.

“Europeans for Jerusalem” warned of the dangers of the violations occurring in Jerusalem, the unchecked actions of extremist settlers against citizens, and the attempts to impose new realities at Al-Aqsa Mosque, alongside increasing the suffering of Jerusalemites. This coincides with the ongoing policies of Judaization, repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, attempts to impose temporal and spatial division of the Mosque, and repeated assaults on the Bab al-Rahma prayer area with attempts to close it.
