The Hamas Movement has warned that Israeli security minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s plan to desecrate and raid the Al-Aqsa Mosque would lead to escalation in the region.
In a press statement on Monday the Movement held Israel responsible for the repercussions of Ben Gvir’s intent to break into the Aqsa Mosque calling on Palestinian youths to foil such plans.
The Movement called on the Arab and Muslim nations to support the Palestinian people and resistance while they defend their lands and holy sites that have been desecrated by Israel.
Earlier on Sunday Ben Gvir announced his intent to break into the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday for the first time since he assumed his cabinet portfolio last week.
