The Hamas Movement has mourned 16-year-old martyr Adam Ayyad who was shot dead on Tuesday morning by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in al-Deheisha refugee camp in Bethlehem.
“Our people who are steadfast in the face of the occupation state’s crimes … will continue to resist to defend their land and holy sites especially Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque restore their rights fully and gain freedom and independence” Hamas said in a statement on Tuesday.
“We extend our condolences to the family of martyr Ayyad his brothers and those who love him and we call upon the Palestinian masses to uphold their struggle and steadfastness escalate their confrontation with the Zionist enemy and block roads used by settlers and Zionist extremists” Hamas added.
“Only all-out resistance can deter this criminal enemy and its racist and fascist government” the Movement underlined.
Ayyad was killed on Tuesday morning when the IOF stormed al-Deheisha camp in southern Bethlehem and clashed with local youths.
According to medical sources Ayyad was pronounced dead at the Beit Jala Hospital after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury in his chest.
