The Hamas Movement has vowed to continue to honor the martyrs’ blood through upholding the resistance option until the removal of the Israeli occupation from the Palestinian land describing the martyrs as “beacons on the path of liberation and return.”
“We will remain loyal to the martyrs’ blood and their sacrifices and adherent to their comprehensive resistance approach until the occupation is driven out of our land and our Aqsa Mosque” Hamas said in a statement released on Saturday on the occasion of the Palestinian Martyr Day.
“The Zionist occupation’s crimes against our people and the terrorism of extremist settlers … will not succeed in breaking our people’s spirit of steadfastness and defiance and their determination to continue their resistance and revolution” Hamas stressed.
The Movement strongly denounced the Israeli occupation state’s persistence in holding the bodies of over 373 Palestinian martyrs calling such a practice as a “crime” and a “violation of the international law.”
It said that Israel’s burial of martyrs’ bodies in “Cemeteries of Numbers” reflects its racism and sadism calling on international human rights groups to intervene actively to pressure the Israeli government to release them in order to enable their families to give them proper burials.
It also urged the Arab and Muslim nations and the world’s free people to show more solidarity with the Palestinian people and support the justice of their national cause.
