Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif al-Qanu has applauded the car-ramming operation at the Zaatara checkpoint in Nablus on Tuesday evening describing it as “heroic” and a “response to the Israeli occupation state’s crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people and their holy sites.”
In press remarks spokesman Qanu said that this operation coincided with the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and reflected the resistance’s ability to respond and its readiness to defend the prisoners.
“We assure our heroic prisoners that the resistance has joined them in their battle against the jailer and will never give up its duty to defend them” the spokesman stressed.
“The resistance is committed to liberating the prisoners from Israeli jails” he emphasized.
