A delegation of Hamas Movement headed by Khaled Qaddumi attended the “Jerusalem on the Threshold of Liberation” conference held in Tehran on the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Several Iranian officials MPs and military leaders have also participated at the conference as well as delegates from other countries and Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements.
In his speech Qaddumi congratulated the Iranian leadership people and government on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory.
Qaddumi pointed out that closing the Israeli embassy in Tehran and turning it into the Palestinian embassy and declaring the last Friday of Ramadan as the International Quds Day were the first step taken following the Iranian revolution.
He also voiced gratitude to the Iranians for undertaking stances in favor of the Palestinians.
The Hamas representative lashed out at those normalizing relations with the “Zionist entity” and said that they were swimming against the tide.
Qaddumi also blasted the two-state solution. adding that even the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu does not agree to that settlement.
