Armed clashes broke out in Jenin after being violently stormed by a large number of Israeli occupation forces (IOF) early Tuesday.
The Israeli troops came under fire while trying to break into Jenin refugee camp.
Videos were circulated on social media showing IOF troops withdrawing from the area while no initial casualties were reported.
Last month nine Palestinians including an elderly woman have been killed during an Israeli military raid in Jenin refugee camp – the deadliest in years.
