The Hamas Movement has applauded West Bank resistance fighters for warding off the Israeli occupation forces after they stormed Jenin City and its refugee camp at an early hour on Tuesday morning.
“The great heroic acts of the resistance [fighters in the West Bank] are always capable of confusing the occupation state and fueling the Palestinian people’s revolution which will not stop without our people achieving their aspirations for freedom and independence” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in a brief statement on Tuesday.
Resistance fighters from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas and other factions exchanged fire with Israeli forces and showered their vehicles with bullets after they stormed areas in Jenin at dawn.
During the past 24 hours four Palestinian shooting operations targeted Israeli soldiers and settlers in different areas of the occupied West Bank.
