The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) tightened on Monday the siege imposed on the Nablus governorate in the West Bank.
According to local sources the IOF continued to close the Hawwara Awarta Al-Murabaa Road and Za’tara checkpoints in addition to the entrances to Beita and Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya towns restricting the local residents’ movement.
Earlier Sunday at least one Palestinian was killed and dozens more injured during organized settler attacks in Hawwara town south of Nablus.
More than 30 homes and 15 cars were set ablaze in Hawwara a town just outside of Nablus locals said adding that Israeli forces have reportedly granted settlers open access to the Palestinian town.
The Palestinian Red Crescent has confirmed that one civilian was killed while at least 100 others have been wounded during the attack on the town. One of the Palestinians is seriously injured from head wounds.
