The Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails entered on Sunday day 34 of their disobedience steps which they staged in protest at the arbitrary punitive measures that were taken against them recently at the behest of far-right security minister Itamar Ben Gvir.
In a statement the Palestinian Captive Movement’s Higher National Emergency Committee has called on the Palestinian people their institutions and groups from all spectra to continue supporting the prisoners and increase their solidarity with them as they start their open-end hunger strike on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
“We reaffirm that we are taking our steps as one united group and we call upon our people to pool their efforts to support us” the Captive Movement said.
The Captive Movement affirmed that the prisoners who intend to participate in the hunger strike would publish their last will during the coming hours.
