Jewish groups allocate money awards for slaughtering sacrifices

Friday 31-March-2023

Extremist Jewish temple mount groups on Friday announced that Jewish settlers who slaughter sacrifices in Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Passover will receive money awards.

The temple mount groups offered an award of 25000 shekels to anyone who succeeds in sacrificing an animal inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards and 2500 shekels for anyone who gets arrested for the possession of an animal inside the holy site.

They have been calling for massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover in April.

Earlier on Wednesday 15 Jewish rabbis sent a letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asking for allowing the slaughter of animal sacrifices in Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Passover holiday.

For its part Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism warned about the planned Jewish settlers’ raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque stressing that slaughtering sacrifices and celebrating the Passover in the Al-Aqsa Mosque constitutes a provocation to the feelings of Muslims.
