Sheikh Ekrima Sabri the preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday condemned the criminal Israeli practices against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Muslim worshippers.
“The repeated Israeli attacks against the Muslim worshippers constitute part of the Israeli Judaization plans against the Al-Aqsa Mosque” Sheikh Sabri stressed calling on Palestinian citizens to confront such plans.
Earlier today dozens of Muslim worshipers were injured and hundreds were arrested during violent Israeli police raids on the Al-Qibli prayer building at the Aqsa Mosque.
Israeli police forces assaulted Muslim worshipers and fired tear gas bombs and stun grenades at them forcing them to leave the Mosque.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that 12 Palestinian citizens were injured during clashes that erupted following the Israeli raid.
Dozens of Jewish settlers protected by Israeli police stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque and toured its courtyards in the morning.
