Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a 20-year-old Palestinian youth in eastern Qalqilia on Saturday evening.
The Palestinian ministry of health said in a terse statement that Ayed Salim was fatally wounded in the chest and abdomen by IOF soldiers during their raid into Azzun village to the east of Qalqilia.
The number of Palestinian citizens killed by the IOF in 2023 so far thus rose to 98.
