The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has warned of the repercussions of the continuous Israeli attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the daily Jewish settlers’ incursions into the holy site.
In a brief statement on Saturday the OIC said that storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacking Muslim worshippers constitute a grave violation of international laws and conventions and an attempt to impose spatial and temporal division on the Mosque.
The Organization condemned the Israeli occupation for launching campaigns of raids and arrests against Muslim worshippers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 14th day of the holy month of Ramadan.
“Such practices provoke the feelings of Muslims all over the world and threaten the security in the region” the Organization asserted holding Israel responsible for the repercussions of the continued racist and brutal attacks at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The OIC stressed that such racist practices will not grant Israeli sovereignty over the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Muslim worshippers hailing the Palestinian citizens who intensify their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to protect it against Israeli desecration.
It called on the concerned institutions to provide protection for the Palestinian people and the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Israeli attacks and Judaization plans.
