The preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Ekrima Sabri has stressed that the Israeli plans to change the status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque will end up in failure.
In a press statement on Sunday Sheikh Sabri condemned the brutal Israeli attacks against the Palestinian worshippers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“Israel is persistently trying to change the Islamic identity of the holy site by facilitating Jewish settlers’ incursions into it especially during Jewish holidays” Sheikh Sabri pointed out adding that such plans will never grant Israel sovereignty over the holy site.
Sheikh Sabri hailed the Palestinian citizens for intensifying their presence at the All-Aqsa Mosque to protect it against the Israeli desecration stressing that the Palestinians all over the occupied territories will always be united while confronting Israel.
