The Hamas Movement affirmed on Monday that Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s latest remarks would never intimidate the Palestinian people and stop them from defending the Aqsa Mosque.
In press remarks Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said that Netanyahu’s speech was an attempt to twist the facts accusing the Israeli occupation of being the basis of all tensions and practicing terrorism systematically and continuously.
“Our people is fighting a legitimate battle to extract their right to freedom and independence” spokesman Qasem underscored.
The spokesman also said that Netanyahu’s threats against the Palestinian people Syria Lebanon and Iran “pose a threat to the entire region and its interests.”
In a speech on Monday Netanyahu claimed that Israeli forces had thwarted hundreds of Palestinian resistance operations since the beginning of the current year and pledged to hunt the resistance everywhere.
