Several pro-Palestine activists took to the streets of the Belgian capital Brussels to show their solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners and mark the Palestinian Prisoner Day.
About 500 activists marked the occasion and highlighted the plight of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails during a sit-in organized outside the central railway station in Brussels according to Palestinian media outlets.
A number of lawmakers and officials from pro-Palestine institutions and societies in Europe participated in the sit-in. Some participants delivered speeches that highlighted the suffering of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
